We are looking for a qualified Assistant Planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards. An excellent Assistant Planner is eager to learn and implement production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Communication and computer skills are very useful for the role.
The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.
Monitors production schedules for the facility to meet customer deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Planner will perform a wide variety of administrative tasks to assist in production workflow for projects and scheduling according to production needs. They develop and review production plans with other departments' managers for approval and monitor production plan execution. Must be comfortable running meetings (Zoom meetings or in person) and will be trained to assist with running production meetings.

- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Prepare reports and compile data for analysis
- Keep paperwork organized
- Handle special projects and other responsibilities
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff
- Good organization skills
- works well with short deadlines
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Qualifications:
- Strong math and statistical skills
- Strong organization and problem-solving
- Understanding of Bills of Material
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Understanding of Routings and Work Centers
